It was on my most recent
trip to Venice and the Island of Murano, when I was looking for a glass artist that was doing both traditional Murano styled glass along with something unique, that I found L’Arte Muranese.

Glass Master Luciano Nichetto began blowing glass in 1945. Today, he is joined by his son Gianni and together -- with the father's experience and the son's creativity -- they create vases and lamps that are modern classics. Their unique combinations of materials and colors are stunning.

Most important, Luciano and Gianni Nichetto have not forgotten their roots in 18th century style glass blowing -- creating glass necklaces of pearls and chandeliers in traditional Venetian style -- yet with a fresh look that is unique.

We offer a beautiful selection of shells, vases and modern style pendant lighting where a copper casing holds the blown glass for a look that would enhance any décor.
